Had a blast shooting this fashion editorial piece with Kace Parker / Closet of NY.

Kace contacted me a few days before the shoot looking for a photographer. Once she sent through the moodboard for the editorial, I was hooked. That weekend we met up in a swanky Tribeca loft that was something straight out of a French bohemian dream, which provided the perfect backdrop for the shoot.
Tucked away in the back of the loft was a comical assortment of stacked chairs, old props, loose papers, and everything you’d expect to see in an apothecary shop in 1893. While poking around in the back, I discovered a yellow 9 ft seamless that we rigged up under the loft’s skylight to shoot the studio scenes - one of the day’s pleasant and unexpected surprises.
From denim, we moved into more layered looks and headed outside to the streets of Tribeca for the occasional shot with some found balloons. That’s what Iove about shooting, you never know what you’re going to find along the way.
We finished up the day back in the loft, away from the chilly spring air, with these simple menswear looks that worked out to be my favorite shots of the day.
